A master's thesis was discussed at the Faculty of law and political science at the University of Kirkuk: the water dimension and its impact on the future of Iraqi - Turkish relations.The message presented by researcher Zeinab Mahmoud Mohammed aimed to highlight the most important challenges facing Iraq's water security in the Tigris and Euphrates river basins, especially with the escalating pace of water policy on the two rivers as a tool of pressure and influence in its regional environment.The letter concluded with Turkey's non-recognition of Iraq's acquired water rights in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and the continuation of the establishment of water projects on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers without cooperation with Iraq, and Turkey is working to link the issue of shared water with political files.
