Dr. Shahla Othman Omar, a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, published a scientific research entitled" modified bat algorithm :a newly proposed approach to solving complex real-world problems " in the magazine (Soft Computing)belonging to the international publishing house Springer, which is considered within the Scopus and clarivet absorbers and has a high impact factor. The teaching stated that the research aimed to modify the BA bat algorithm to MBA, which includes adjustments in frequency and speed for the best solution to enhance convergence and avoid falling into traps. The study concluded significant improvements compared to BA and others, as well as effective solutions in various applied problems.
