As part of the initiative launched by the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Amran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Faculty of Agriculture, associates and college students begin a afforestation campaign in the college's arcade. The University ' Muhammad Muntaz Ibrahim said that the seedlings were planted by each affiliate and student, in the parks and courtyards of colleges, as well as the maintenance of gardens and green flats inside and outside colleges. The campaign, which lasts until 7 March 2024, aims to grow the largest number of seedlings by students and associates inside and outside the university, to make Kirkuk green.
