A lecturer at the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Tala'at Jiyad Laji (Ph.D), and the researcher Hussein Okhla Muhammad published a joint scientific research in the international magazine Migration Letters, which is classified within the Scopus database with the classification Q1. The research aimed to clarify the role of regional international organizations in confronting armed conflicts, and among these organizations are the African Union and NATO, as these organizations played an important role in settling armed conflicts in Africa and Europe, especially the armed conflicts in Darfur, Libya, and Kosovo, and in response to Security Council resolutions issued to confront these conflicts.
