The president of the University of Kirkuk, professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hasan, participated and inaugurated the eighth international scientific conference on Sports field, under the slogan "digitization and artificial intelligence applications in the sports field", which will be held in the capital of Qatar, Doha for the period January 21-14, 2024. During the conference, the president of the University stressed the need to contribute to the enrichment of knowledge, the development of research and academic work, and to identify new ideas in the field of sports that are addressed by contemporary studies and research. The conference, which is being held under the auspices of the University of Kirkuk and a number of Iraqi universities, witnessed the participation of a number of Arab countries, and international researchers and speakers distributed over twenty axes to discuss ideas and proposals. The theses that will re-create a fertile environment for scientific communication between Arab researchers, closer communication between researchers and society, and the use of artificial intelligence and digitization in Physical Education Research. On the sidelines of the conference, the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hasan, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Amjad abbawi Salih, assistant dean of the Faculty of physical education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Mateen Suleiman Saleh, and director of the Central Library, Prof. Dr. Athal Ibrahim Hussein, were honored with the Medal of creativity and scientific excellence, and certificates of appreciation.
