Within the directives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, the College of education for girls held a workshop on renewable energy.

The workshop included several lectures through which the energy sources and types of photovoltaics, concentrated heat, solar heater and the impact of each on the environment were identified, as well as the statement of pollution, its types and methods of treatment.

The workshop stressed the need to spread the culture of renewable energies and rationalize consumption through research, studies and scientific knowledge that help in the development of the energy sector and improve environmental quality.
