Under the patronage and presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and a number of deans of the faculties, the College of Science hosted the annual festival for scientific innovations that was held by the British Sterling Foundation, which sponsors the JAG schools in Iraq, as part of the activities of missions and cultural relations. The festival included the presentation of 73 projects within the annual Olympics of the JAG schools. In Kirkuk Governorate, the projects were evaluated by a number of deans and 23 specialized teachers from the faculties of science, engineering, computer science, and information technology. Those who have advanced positions will participate in an international festival outside the country in these projects.
