A faculty member from the College of Agriculture / Hawija, Dr. Abdul Moeen Shabib Hamad, participated as a member in the discussion of the master’s thesis titled ( Effect of two magnetic and non-magnetic Herbicides on weed control and yield and quality of peach orchard in Sulaimani City, Kurdistan Region)  for the student, Ala Sirwan Hussain. The study included the use of two types of weed killers, namely clifosate and paraquat pesticides, with five levels of magnetized and non-magnetized water for both pesticides, and one and two times application.It is noteworthy that the study is the first of its kind in the fight against orchids, as no previous study has touched on this environment, but was limited in implementation to field crops.
