The Classifications Committee (QS) at the University of Kirkuk held an electronic workshop on the QS world classification, in cooperation with the regional director of QS in the Middle East and Africa, to raise the level of international standards for universities. The aim of the workshop is to develop and enhance skills, raise academic reputation, and reach global competitiveness in a manner befitting the reputation of Iraqi universities. The international community has managed to publish joint research in Scopus with a high impact factor and number of citations, as well as concluding cooperation agreements with international and Arab universities through holding conferences and seminars and attracting foreign students, teachers, and employers.
