Asst. Prof. Dr.  Rushdi Sabah Abdulqader, the lecturer at the College of Education for Pure Sciences and director of scientific affairs department at the University of Kirkuk participates in a virtual conference at Pakistan University about plants and environmental challenges.

Dr. Rushdi stated that his participation included giving a lecture about the plants abilities in facing the environmental challenges made by human and non-human activities. He indicated that most plants can adapt themselves with the environmental challenges effectively. Finally, he said that plants give a live example of the organisms' ability of the continuity of living through their adaptation in confronting the challenges across the different generation.
